The time of my life..

Yes everyone, this will be the last time I talk about it, but I finally got to see The Rocket Summer in concert last Friday. Everyone is so sick of hearing me talk about it, but it honestly was one of the best shows I have ever been to! Friday was such a long day at school, and I was just so ready to go and have a good time! (Especially since half of the people at the show were all in high school, kids that were born in the 90's)

All in all, the show was great, I made my way up pretty close to the stage and had some great connecting moments with Bryce as we made eye contact. Ha! He is such a talented artist who played the drums, key board, guitar and sang all at different parts of the night. Not only is he talented but his song-writing skills are amazing with such great lyrics! I came out of the show on such a high! That sounds so cheesy, but it really is one of the great reasons I love going to concerts. That is why it is worth every penny to go! Here are a few of the pictures from my great Friday night.

Let the Last Semester Begin!

So school has begun, and I have spent my last days on campus as a student! The first week of school I was on campus for some seminars before we began our student teaching on Wednesday the 25th. I am student teaching a fourth grade class right now at Hillcrest Elementary. I absolutely love it! I am so exhausted going to school all day, but I love every minute of it as I learn more and more about preparing for my own classroom. The kids still have a hard time saying my name, for example, one of my students even called me "Ms. Reindeer sparkler." Ha! It made my day! The fourth graders are hysterical! Is it a bad thing that I am easily entertained by 9 year olds? :)

It is such a different experience for me to actually be a responsible adult going to work/school all day then coming home to my other life, the social college life. It is a great balance right now and I love it! I also love having great friends and roommates. Even having Braden up here is fun! He thinks I act like his mother though..

One of the activities on campus during Week Of Welcome. Stephanie was in the "Billy the Blood Drop" costume for our Blood Drive.

Movie night on the HPER field on campus with the old roommates!

The 80's Dance we went to last week! An annual tradition when school starts!

This is the little monologue I just wrote on Crystal's Facebook, hope you all like it!

"Oh how I love Utah State University.. The years have gone by so fast, I swear it was only yesterday that we were freshmen at Merrill Hall. Being 21 and invincible, we are now entering our senior year.. tear. My cap and gown are getting ready, and my pocket is ready to be filled with money instead of being drained to the last penny!
Congratulations class of 2008/09! We made it baby!"
